The SMS / Call to Gate module allows you to summon waiting drivers to an available dock via SMS message or wireless pager. Drivers parked in the staging area do not need to wait at the dock - they are notified the moment their shipment is ready for processing.
In facilities with a high volume of arriving vehicles, drivers move to a staging car park upon arrival and wait to be called. The dock operator sends them an SMS or a pager signal at the right moment - the driver only comes to the dock when a space is ready for them.
Benefits:
A phone number must be filled in on the reservation or in the driver record.
The pager system requires hardware base station installation on the premises. Installation is carried out by a certified partner.
