¶ Reservations - Action dialog designer
The Action dialog designer defines what the reservation action dialog looks like. The page has three parts:
- Header – reservation information shown above the action buttons,
- Actions – layout of the action buttons in columns 1–3,
- Footer – reservation information shown below the action buttons.
The order of actions and the content of the header and footer are changed by drag-and-drop. Saving takes effect immediately in the action dialog for all users.
¶ Header and footer
Fields are dragged into the header and footer between the Assigned fields and Available fields lists. The order of fields in the Assigned fields list is the order in the dialog.
- Where they are shown – in the action dialog of the operator, the gatehouse and the end user, always in the main dialog view with the action buttons.
- Default content – the header contains the reservation number and start, the footer is empty. Both can be emptied completely; an empty part is not shown in the dialog.
- Appearance in the dialog – each value has its own line, also on a phone. The reservation number is shown in bold, a missing value is shown as "–".
- Permissions – the panel shows only information the user is allowed to see. Without the permission to view the reservation no field is shown; SMS and e-mail counts and urgent delivery are shown only with the corresponding permission.
- Scope – the header and footer apply to the whole tenant. When a branch is selected in Layout scope, they are read-only with a note that they apply to all branches. The action button layout can still be set per branch.
- Touch devices – on touch devices no tooltip is shown over a reservation; reservation information is available there only in the action dialog.
The panel is turned on and off in System settings → Forms → Reservation actions dialog with the Display reservation information option. When it is off, the designer shows a note; the configured content is kept.

Layout scope
Selects whose layout is edited: Default (all branch offices) or a specific branch. Only the action button layout can be customised per branch; the header and footer are shared.
Header
Part above the action buttons with the Assigned fields and Available fields lists.
Action groups (1, 2, 3)
Three numbered columns into which actions are divided. They appear in the same group order in the reservation action dialog. Each column has its own scrollable list and is separated by a blue header border.
Drag handle
Arrow icon at the start of each row. Grab and drag to reorder an action within its group or move it to a different group.
Action
Action item showing its icon and name. Each action can only belong to one group.
Footer
Part below the action buttons with the Assigned fields and Available fields lists.
Save
Saves the action layout and the header and footer content. The change takes effect immediately for all users.
Back
Leaves the designer without saving changes.
¶ Custom layout for a branch
The layout of the action buttons can be set separately for each branch. A branch without its own layout inherits the default layout.
Selecting a branch
Select the branch in the Layout scope field. A branch with its own layout is marked with the suffix custom layout in the list.
Create custom layout
The Create custom layout button appears for a branch that still inherits the default layout (the page says “This branch office inherits the default layout.”). The custom layout is created as a copy of the layout currently shown (the default one), which you then edit and save.
Remove custom layout
The Remove custom layout button appears for a branch with its own layout (“This branch office has its own layout.”). After removal the branch returns to the default layout.
Not assigned actions
The designer shows all action buttons. Actions not placed in any column are automatically added to the end of column 3. A greyed-out action (tooltip Not assigned) is a custom action that is disabled (Enabled = No in the custom actions list); it keeps its position in the layout. Whether the button is really shown in the dialog also depends on the settings and on the reservation state.
Action available from a workflow state
The availability of a custom action by workflow state is set in the custom action form (Administration → Custom actions) in the Parent user action field: the action becomes available only after the selected action, e.g. Carrier arrived in company, Mark as processing, Mark as finished, Carrier left company or Carrier didn't arrive, or after another custom action.
