¶ System Settings - Custom Fields
The Custom Fields tab lets you add custom fields to forms:
- Text fields, toggles and data dials
- Available for reservation, delivery and row forms
- Suitable for internal codes, project numbers or shipment-specific attributes
¶ Reservation (1)
Custom text fields added to the main reservation form. Seven slots are available (Custom field 1-7).
Show field "Custom field X"
Enables a free-text field in the main reservation form. Suitable for internal codes, project numbers, warehouse notes or any other operation-specific data. The field label is configured in the Forms tab or directly here once the field is enabled.
¶ Custom Yes/No fields (2)
Toggle fields (checkboxes) added to the reservation form. Three slots are available.
Show field "Custom Yes/No field X"
Enables a checkbox in the reservation form. Suitable for binary flags - for example "Hazardous goods", "Return shipment" or "Priority processing". The label can be customised per language.
¶ Data dial (3)
Fields with selection from a predefined list of values added to the reservation form. Three slots are available.
Show field "Data dial X"
Enables a dropdown list in the reservation form. The user selects a value from a predefined set - suitable for categorising shipments, selecting goods type or other structured attributes. The list items are managed by clicking the Edit link below the field.
¶ Reservation - Delivery (4)
Custom text fields added to the delivery form within a reservation. Five slots are available (Custom field 1-5). Unlike the reservation-level fields, these also support a required flag and a multilingual label.
Show field "Custom field X"
Enables a text field in the delivery form. Once enabled, two additional options appear: a required flag and a multilingual label. Suitable for order numbers, item codes or other logistics attributes at the individual delivery level.
"Custom field X" is required
Appears after the corresponding custom field is enabled. When checked, the carrier or dispatcher must fill in the field - the delivery form cannot be saved without a value.
Field label (multilingual)
Text input for naming the custom field as it will appear to users in the form. Click Show all languages to enter a translation for each language enabled in the system - the label will then display in the correct language based on the user's settings.
¶ Reservation - Delivery - Row (5)
Custom text fields added to the delivery row form. Three slots are available (Custom field 1-3).
Show field "Custom field X"
Enables a text field at the delivery row level. Suitable for capturing item-specific attributes - for example article code, batch number, serial number or storage location.
